Amber is back in work and doing very well. Jumping 1 metre at the moment with a great line over the jumps. Hoping to get her out over Winter '09 to qualify her for Trailblazers Show Jumping next year, with mine and Amber's riding buddies, Mauna and Cookie who have recently been doing very well!
Doverbeck Riding Club (Open Show)- 19th April 2009
A beautiful sunny day for Amber's first time out with Charlotte. She was well behaved and really seemed to enjoy herself. As it was her first time out, we took things nice and easy, and it paid off! Here are their results:
*Introductary B- 63.9%
*Novice Pony Showjumping- 6th
*Most Appealing Pony- 1st
She also competed some clear rounds too! *What a super star!*
Spinal Research Dressage (Arena UK)- 29th March 2009
Today Charlotte and Tommy headed off to Spinal Research dressage competition at Arena UK. It was a nice day and it showed in their results! In Prelim 10, they got placed 2nd with a score of 63.2% and won a purple and black full sized head collar! For Prelim 12 they got another good score of 65.6% and came 3rd with a prize of bandages! They both really enjoyed it and are looking forward to their next event.
Trent Valley Trailblazers Dressage- 8th March 2009
Tommy and Charlotte went to Trent Valley for their first show of the year. They did very well despite the horrible rain! For Prelim 12 they got a percentage of 61.6% and came 7th. Their 2nd test was much better and they gained 65.91% for Prelim 19 and came 3rd and won a medal (which Tommy wasn't to keen about!). They have now both qualified for the 2nd round of Trailblazers.
Charlotte and Mauna took Merlin and Cookie out to Trent Valley to do some well needed jumping!They both rode really well and did some cracking jumps. Here are Mauna's and Cookie's results:

Newark Dressage Championships- 21st September 2008
Tommy and Charlotte went to the dressage championships at Newark. They did very well and got some brilliant scores! They did prelim 17 first, they got a percentage of 70.83%! Which took them into 2nd place overall, 1st juniors and 1st amateur! They got mountains of prizes:
*White Mark Todd Dressage Numnah!
*Horse Painting!
*2 Trophy's and 3 BIG rosettes!
For their novice 33 they got a score of 61.38% but unfortunetly didn't get placed!
Silver Horseshoe Riding Club (Open Show)- 7th September 2008
Charlotte and Enbar (Enbab!) took Merlin and Treacle to Silver Horseshoe at Newark Showground. They only went to do the jumping but still had a great time! Here are Merlins results:
*Novice Showjumping (Under 12.2hh)- Hasn't been out for a while, was a bit slow!
*Beginners Showjumping- Did well but refused at one
*Working Hunter- Did very well, but didn't like the water tray!
*Clear Round!

*Beginners Showjumping- Not placed
*Working Hunter- Did well but fell off at water tray, wasn't expecting that!
Doverbeck Riding Club (Equestrian Life Qualifier)- 10th August 2008
Charlotte and Mauna took Merlin and Cookie to Doverbeck. Both riders and ponies had an amazing time! Mona did exstremly well with her pony, Cookie. It was their first show ever and they really enjoyed it! Here are Mona and Cookie's results:

Charlotte and Merlin had a very... expressive dressage test!!!! But he still had a good time! He only did 1 test which was Prelim 19 and ended up with a score of 59.54% and came 5th! Here are his other results:
*Show Jumping (Under 12.2hh)- 4th (Qualified for Blue Chip Festival Of Champions!)
Trailblazers Dressage Finals at Stoneleigh- 29th- 31st July 2008
Tommy and Charlotte had a brilliant time at Stoneleigh! On the first day of competing, they did very well! For their Prelim 10 they got a score of 66.8%, which helped them get a 7th place and was in the championship class for the second day! The Novice 27 class got a good score of 62.5% but didn't get placed. On the second day they got 62.7% in Prelim 10 which wasn't bad as they came 16th overall out of 90 in the championships! (go Tommy!) In the Novice 27 test they got a score of 55%.
Charlotte and Tommy headed off to Newark again to qualify for the Novice classes. But first they did prelim 7 as a warm up and was placed 2nd with a score of 68% and a £5 prize, Charlotte also got a Young Rider rosette. For their novice 20 they were placed 5th with 66.8%. Finally for their novice 21 they came 4th and best Young Rider with 64%! Their results altogether are:
Charlotte and Tommy went to Newark Dressage to Qualify for the Newark Dressage Championships! And ... they did! Although it was very windy, Tommy produced a score of 68% in his prelim 7 with a placing of 2nd and a prize of £5. In his prelim 17, he came joint 1st with an affiliated rider, but they still won with a score of 69.58%, he won £10... the lucky devil!
Charlotte took her future dressage pony, Amber to some in hand classes at Newark Showgrounds. Apart from the bathing situation, everything went smoothly! Here are the results:
Dressage Trailblazers (2nd round) at Caythorpe- 27th April 2008
Tommy and Charlotte were then off again to compete at Caythorpe. They did very well and qualified in both classes... AGAIN! They ended up with a 2nd in prelim 7 with 64% and 3rd in novice 32 with 62.61%!
Dressage Trailblazers (2nd round) at Trent Valley- 26th April 2008
Charlotte took Tommy to Trent Valley to qualify for Trailblazers in July, and was very succesful and qualified! In prelim 18 they got 62.5% and got placed 3rd. In novice 30 they were placed 2nd with a score of 64.23%.
Dressage Qualifier at Brackenhurst College- 23rd Febuary 2008
Charlotte took Tommy to Brackenhurst to qualify for the championships. She rode prelim 18 with all the other adults. She came 1st overall and won £10 and a gorgous 1st place rosette with a score of 68.75%! Poor little Tommy had a few frightening moments when the pony next to them was misbehaving but apart from that it was a really good test... Well Done!
